    Hi There,

    Recently i captured my training session (one hour) using free screen recorder software. unfortunately, when training stop and i stop the recorder. the software is hung and i can't open the recorder result (MP4 file) using windows player or vlc. There is an error message saying codec problem or corrupt.

    could you please someone assist me on this matter because the training is very important.

    Hi,

    You might need to install K-Lite Codec Pack Mega
    (Please choose FULL during installation)

    Then try to play the file again.
    Let me know if it works for you this time.

    I got the same problem. i tried to download the codec pac but did not work.
    The video still show videorec_tmp.mp4. It seems that the program did not convert into the final video file.
    i tried several programs and converts to open it but not succed.

    Hi,

    Please send me your log files for test:
    1. Launch 'Log Report'
    Start → All programs (Apps on Windows 8) → DVDVideoSoft → Log Report or just press Ctrl+Alt+L.
    2. Click 'OK' to open the folder with archived logs.
    3. Send '_logs_to_send' as an attachment to support team

    This exact same thing just happened to me. Is there a solution to fixing the videorec_tmp.mp4 file?

    Start → All programs (Apps on Windows 8) → DVDVideoSoft → Log Report or just press Ctrl+Alt+L.
    2. Click ‘OK’ to open the folder with archived logs.
    3. Send ‘_logs_to_send’ as an attachment to support team
