This New Year seems to start with just good news.

Today we have released a new version of Free Audio Converter. Now with support of lossless audio formats: FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec ) and APE (Monkey’s Audio) for input as well as for output files.

Also we have updated YouTube download tools, video converters and burners. All these programs feature minor bug fixes and interface improvements. We recommend you to download and reinstall Free Studio.

We continue working to improve our tools and, of course, to develope new ones and to add features to match your needs!

We have prepared for you last updates for this year.

As we promised, we publish Free Disc Burner and Free DVD Video Burner fully compatible with Windows 7. Moreover these programs now support more drives which were previously rejected and thus more opportunities for you are available with our programs.

We also recommend you to reinstall our YouTube download programs as some minor updates were added in the new versions, e. g. some videos which could not be downloaded now are all “downloadable”.

Finally, we also publish updated versions of Free Video to Flash Converter and Free Audio to Flash Converter as now these programs are enriched with Unicode support as well as some disturbing bugs in Flash Players are eliminated.

Advanced Proxy and Unicode MP3 Tags

Today we are releasing some additional important updates for YouTube tools.

We found out that Unicode was not totally implemented in our programs. MP3 Tags were not supported by Free YouTube to MP3 Converter. Now this issue is fixed, and total Unicode support is present.

For Proxy Server users, now after introducing Address and Port, you can also type in your Username and Password. It is of great importance for corporate proxy server users and for paid proxy server users.

HD1080, Unicode, Bug fixes, Cleaner.exe, Temp folder and Check for Updates

Hi All,

1. From now on our Free YouTube Download will be able to download video from YouTube in quality preset HD1080.

2. Unicode is now applicable for all YouTube programs. Now for example a German or English language user can download videos with title in any other language, for example, in Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, Arabic, Hebrew etc.

3. The following error: “The program was not able to create the output-file. Most problably you don’t have enough rights to create files or folders on this drive” – is fixed for the current YouTube settings and hopefully it will not bother you any more.

4. Our programs used to have Cleaner.exe. This program seemed to be suspicious to our users and it was blocked by some antivirus programs, but in fact it is just our uninstall program! That is why now we changed name of the program for DVSUnistall.exe for everyone’s convenience.

5. Temporary folder where our programs store video files downloaded from YouTube maybe easily substituted by desired folder on making some changes in Windows Registry. Please write to us for more details on this matter.

6. The button “Check for Updates” will direct you to our website page in the language used in your program.

Windows 7 Compatibility

Greetings to everyone!
We have tested all our programs on their compatibility with newly released OS Windows 7.
And we are very pleased to announce that all our programs fully support Windows 7 with few exceptions.
These exceptions refer to burning software, but surely we are working on this issue and by Christmas we will prepare a new release of disc burning programs which will support Windows 7 and fix known problems.
Our updated Free YouTube to MP3 Converter is also available for Win7.

New tool: Free Audio to Flash Converter

Now you can easily enrich your website or blog with Flash MP3 audio player. You can choose between different colors and functions. Add buttons to the player like Play, Stop, Next, Previous, Seek bar. Automatically generate the code to copy and paste anywhere you want the music to appear on any web page.

Long-awaited minor updates

Today we’ve released new updates with minor bug fixes and improvements:

– presets for 5th generation iPods;
– FLV High Quality downloads which effect on YouTube MP3 downloads quality too;
– new MP4 High Resolution outputs for modern mobile phones like Nokia N97;
– the Genre tag support, it was always Blues before;
– fixed problems when downloading YouTube video with the ‘&’ symbol in the title.
