Today we announce Beta release of one more useful program – Free Screen Video Recorder which allows you to easily record different screen activities and capture anything on the screen including windows, objects, menus, full screen and rectangular regions.
As it is fully new program, we are awaiting for your suggestions on its improvement as well as we are open to any comments and corrections which you can offer. We will do our best to implement your ideas in the next versions.
New Free Studio changes its Beta status and from now on it will be our official version published in our website.
Due to recent changes in YouTube video files hosting routine, we have introduced updates in the set of our YouTube downloading programs to follow the latest YouTube modifications.
More improvements are related to video converting processes as our converters are enriched with new engine. This fact will surely let you enjoy our programs much more. Though we can assume that some problems will arise and we are ready to accept your suggestions and comments about the errors which you have encountered. We will do our best to fix them!
And finally we release our renewed Free YouTube Uploader, which was so long awaited. However soon we will update it again. The new features will be: uploading of bigger files, splitting of long video into episodes and creating of playlists as well as showing of real-time uploading progress.

Today we are finally releasing new program Free YouTube to DVD Converter:

The program is included in the set of our Free Studio and features necessary functions characteristic of all DVDVideoSoft programs: free, simple and functional.

Programs’ interface and functionality remain exactly the same – simple and easy to use. Main improvements refer to video encoding and decoding functions of our software as now more formats are supported, less errors are likely to occur during conversion and you will get better quality!

Following wishes of our users, we are planning to launch program Free YouTube to DVD Converter. The name of the program is self-explaining: it will be possible to burn YouTube videos directly to DVD with one program without using any other tool.
Now the same conversion is possible to perform with two programs – Free YouTube Download and Free Video to DVD Converter, but new powerful application will let you do it at one click saving up your time.
We are planning to launch this program within two months and you are the first to know about it.
All converters featuring mp3 encoding will now include new high quality presets, which are defined on the basis of psycho acoustic and noise shaping experiments by The LAME Project. Our software will enhance the following presets: “STANDARD”, “EXTREME” and “INSANE”.
The first one gives excellent quality with reasonable size (180 – 190 kbps) and for good acoustic systems, thus most recommended one. The second one, more than just excellent quality (220 – 240 kbps) for very demanding users with hi-tech system for playback of such files. And the third one, maximum possible mp3 quality with unreasonable space (320 kbps).

Following the trend of fulfilling requests from our users, we have introduced feature of downloading YouTube shows lists in our programs.
Such bugs as “no internet connection” while you are having perfect connection and refusal in downloading some particular YouTube videos are fixed. Moreover, errors in MP3 tags are subject to disappear as well as problems on import to iTunes are solved.
Additionally, we solved such minor bug as black blinking window in Free Video to DVD Converter.

We have just updated our burning applications – Free Disc Burner and Free DVD Video Burner. New engines and correction of bugs will let you enjoy our programs more. Free Disc Burner will now be able to burn .ISO (disc archive) files.
At the moment we are preparing more updates of our conversion software which will be released soon.
Our future plans: upon multiple requests of our fans, we are launching beta versions of our programs. This will let longing-for-update users get the latest fixes in our programs and at the same time will let us keep our products more stable and reliable for use.
