Hello. I need your help.
I downloaded Free YouTube Uploader for Windows Me and got the error message "Class not registered". One of Fix Components - VideoFileToIPOD.dll - failed. I downloaded vcredist_x86.exe from your site but I can't itstall it. The error message is "FILE VCREDIST_X86.EXE IS CONNECTED WITH THE ABSENT COMPONENT NTDLL.DLL:NtShutdownSystem. I don't know what to do. Please help.

PS. I have Free Video Dub and it is working very well. Thanks a lot DVDVideoSoft for this program!

Hi.
I downloaded and ran the vcredist_x86.exe then re-installed your program, but still got the same error message of "Class not registered".
The "Fix Components" still shows failed on 2 components.
I am running the program on Windows XP SP2.

glg115, what program do you use? And please specify these 2 components.

I just installed your video to Ipod and PSP converter and got error "Class not registered" and OK button!
I installed VCREDIST_X86.EXE, and after this reinstalled converter, but again same error...

And there is no option in start menu to re-register or FIX components, only option is:
Start -> All Programs -> DVDVideoSoft-> Programs -> Free Video to iPod Converter

and this gives error about class registration.... :(

OS: Win XP SP3

You should go to Start->All Programs->DVDVideoSoft->Uninstall

Then manually delete these folders from your pc (if you have them on your pc):
- C:\Program Files\DVDVideoSoft
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\DVDVideoSoft

Download the latest version again and install it.

Does it help?

Hi, I found this forum by Google. Yes you can use it with Windows ME. When I first downloaded it months ago, it worked so perfectly well. Then for some reason after I ghosted my machine and downloaded it again, it didn't work. It would only work on XP. I thought crap, the old version works so well. Well I did some googling and found CNET keeps tracks of versions and what you have as an operating system requirement. After looking through some versions, I found the optimal version of "Free YouTube Download 2.2.2.1"

Then if you google this you find the website of dvdvideosoft.com has earlier versions that you can download.

I am getting the "Class not registered" error as well and have tried all of the suggestions on this thread (and the FAQ) with no luck. I even tried an earlier version but get the same error.
I am trying to install the video to ipod, psp converter.
I don't get any errors when i install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package.

The interface has been designed to ease the users and is very easy on the eye. You can enjoy a comfortable conversion process. Moreover, it also can convert into Zune video from almost any popular video formats, such as AVI, WMV, MP4, MKV, etc.

MKV to MP4 Converter

Herbert, what's your OS? XP 64bit? In this case you should download and install XMLLite package for Win XP 64 bit from Microsoft's site or directly from our site

Now i am able to convert the files, but even though i am using settings that had previously worked for me (prior to getting a new hard drive and starting with a fresh install of windows xp) i am unable to load the mp4 files on to my ipod. They go into itunes but will not go onto the ipod. I am still able to load mp4 files that i previously created, or have created with other programs.
Any suggestions?
