I´ve got a problem with the Free Audio Converter. Everytime I launch it from the Studio Manager a problem report appears:
"The ordinal number (reference number?) 493 could not be found in DLL "avformat-52.dll".
Later, when I try to input a Song a second problem report appears:
"Access violation at adress 00406453 in module 'FreeAudioConverter.exe'. Read of adress 00000000."

I'm having the same problem.It does the same thing.I need help with this too please.

please follow this instruction:
1. go to Start->All programs->DVDVideoSoft->Uninstall
2. manually delete folders (if you have them on your pc):
- C:\Program Files\DVDVideoSoft
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\DVDVideoSoft
3. download the latest version of Free Studio here
4. If you have Win XP 64 bit OS, please download and install XMLLite package for Win XP 64 bit from Microsoft's site or directly from our site

El programa deja de funcionar al momento de querer agregar canciones. Free Audio converter dejo de funcionar debido a un problema

i dowload new version and it is not working, it is downloading first 10- 20% of song( mp3) and it stops. How can i fix that? old verson worked great( i download it aprox year ago). This one doesnt do the job.

chris, what does it mean? the program freezes or you get an error message? or what?

i tried to convert a protected wma file to mp3. the software finished without errors; but when i played the resulting mp3 file, what i heared were strange sounds. do you have a software that can really do the conversion?

when i change my music to mp3 it won't play on library media player or on myspace it just makes a click noise. how can i hear it and send to pl to here?

I have been trying to figure this problem out now for like a wk everyday , and i can't figure it out and i'am a singer trying to get my music out there and no matter what i try it won't work . Please keep me posted on here as well as i will if i get info ok :) Hope someone can help us out!!!

PUES EN SI EL PROGRAMA NO MARCA ERROR, SI NO QUE DEJA DE FUNCIONAR, SE TRABA POR ASI DECIRLO, AL MOMENTO DE QUERER AGREGAR ALGUN ARCHIVO. YA LO DESINSTALE Y LO INSTALE COMO TRES VECES Y NADA, Y ES RARO PORQUE CON  LAS OTRAS VERSIONES NO ME PASABA ASI, Y MIRA QUE YA LLEVO TIEMPO USANDO EL PROGRAMA.

POR CIERTO EL PROBLEMA ES CON WINDOWS VISTA, APENAS VOY A VER SI ME SUCEDE LO MISMO CON XP

Ismael, es que no comprendo bien que pasa al momento de agregar un archivo. Puedes describirlo? Ademas, tienes este problema con un archivo particular? o con todos los archivos?

I have a problem with my free audio converter. Some of the MP3-files when I add in the converter it shows a report that Free Audio Converter doesn't work any more and then the programm closes automatically. I have tried to start the computer again and also I have deleted all dvdvideosoft softwares and then installed the software new, but there are the same problems. I have tried nearly everything, but couldn't solve the problem.
Can you maybe help me, please?

could you send some of your MP3 files to support.de@dvdvideosoft.com to test them? In "Subject" type "Ashot, forum 6397"
You should also check the fix components of the program. For this go to Start->All Programs->DVDVideoSoft->Fix components. Then click "e-mail to support" and send a letter to support.de@dvdvideosoft.com

A mi me pasa lo mismo que a Ismael, cuando quiero agregar canciones para convertirlas, me sale un error, le doy aceptar y se cierra el programa.
Y siempre me sale lo mismo al volverlo abrir.

Desde hace poco me empezo a aparecer esto, antes andaba todo bien, espero me puedan explicar, de todos modos le dare un escaneo para haber si detecta algun virus, pero no creo.

Por favor especifica cuando sale ese error: cuando presionas "Navegar" para seleccionar el archivo o cuando ya seleccionas el archivo y presionas "Abrir" para añadirlo a la lista del Conversor.
Y también, escribe que sistema operativo tienes.

der Converter arbeitet nicht ich wähle was aus und Convertiere und er gibt nichts aus im neuen Zielordner .

passiert das mit allen Dateien oder nur mit einer konkreten?

Habe es an drei verschiedenen Liedern versucht doch kein Erfolg  habe es nochmal versucht doch jetzt startet der Converter nicht  sagt fehler das hatte ich aber so noch nicht .

Wollt von mp3 auf aac convertieren.

deinstalliere die laufende Version von Free Studio (manche DLL-Komponente wurden beim Downloaden des Konverters verlohren):

1. geh auf Start -> Alle Programme -> DVDVideoSoft -> Uninstall
2. lösche folgende Ordner von Hand (wenn du solche auf deinem PC nach der Deinstallation noch hast):
- C:\Program Files\DVDVideoSoft
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\DVDVideoSoft.

Danach lade dir herunter und installiere das komplette Free Studio:
http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/de/downloads/download-free-studio.htm
Dann starte den Konverter gerade über Studio Manager.
Ich hoffe, ich habe dir damit geholfen.

Hola, si, ese error me sale siempre despues de presionar abrir para agregar el archivo.

si me deja abrir navegar, pero a la hora de abrir o tambien al arrastrar el archivo o archivos me sale ese error.

Es muy raro porque antes todo iba muy bien, hasta que de la nada, empeso a pasar esto, puede ser que haya movido o borrado algun archivo, y solo me pasa con Free Audio Converter, los demas andan bien.

Eso era error de nuestro programa, ya lo corregimos y debe funcionar bien. Te aconsejo descargar todo Free Studio aquí. Por favor, escríbenos después si el programa funciona bien.

Desinstale el programa y lo volvi a descargar y a instalar, ahora funciona perfectamente bien.
