DVDVideoSoft
Key Master

If you get an error message using our programs for YouTube please follow the instructions:

Step 1. Up to date software
Make sure you use the newest version of the program. You can download it here.

Step 2. YouTube access
Make sure this link opens in the Internet browser you usually use. If you can't open this video there may be some reasons:
- the video is not available in your country. Read this guide to find a solution.
- the video is private. So if the owner of this video grants you an access to it, you can download it after logging to your YouTube account in Internet Explorer, not in Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome or other Internet browser you may usually use, you have to log to your YouTube account in Internet Explorer!!!
- the video has been removed from YouTube, so you can't download it any more.
- you don't have an access to YouTube. In this case you can't use our software before getting the access rights (contact your administrator for this purpose).

Step 3. Firewall
Check Firewall settings. Make sure your Firewall doesn't block our programs, besides check whether you use the latest version of the program (go back to Step1).

Step 4. Private video
Some YouTube links are private. So if the owner of this video grants you an access to it, you can download it after logging to your YouTube account in Internet Explorer.
Note: it's important to log in Internet Explorer, not in Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome or other Internet browser you may usually use.

Step 5. Proxy settings
Specify your Proxy settings in the program: click the Options button (see the picture), tick "Use proxy server" and enter Address and Port, then click OK.
You can find information about proxy Address and Port in your browser settings (see the image).
Internet Explorer users go Tools->Internet Options->Connections tab->LAN Settings…
Firefox users go to Tools->Options->Network tab->Settings…
You can also contact your network administrator for this information.

Note: if you are not planning to use proxy servers, make sure "Use proxy server" is unchecked.

Some YouTube videos may be not available in your country. If you want to download them we recommend you to use anonymous proxy servers. Here you'll find a detailed guide.
