I know this because I've been downloading some videos I've downloaded before, but deleted from my machine in error, so I know they're in stereo. I'm using the "insane quality" setting, the one I always use, but everything is in mono now.

What version do you use? Does it happen with all the links? Send me the links for tests, please.

It's happening with every link. Yesterday I installed the most recent version (3.11.19.), and that's when the problem started.

Here are three of the links I tried most recently, which are the same videos I've previously downloaded in stereo, but now come out as mono:

i recently installed the latest version of youtube to mp3 converter & no matter which download quality i select, the output is always 320 kbps. thus, the files are always quite large. i believe the last version used vbr to minimize output size. any suggestions? thanks...........

Hi! I can't reproduce your error, let's do the following: please, specify the version of the program you use, the preset you choose and send me the link for tests. And I'll do my best to help you.

sorry for the late response. i am using version 3.11.19 build 412. here is one song i downloaded using different "quality" outputs which all were finalized at 320 kbps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6_YxRXez8s . as an experiment i used "insane", "extreme", & "standard". the size of the output files were slightly different but they were all at 320 kbps. this has happened with numerous downloads of various types of music. so, it is obvious that vbr & "quality" choices are not working for me for what ever reason. anyways, thanks for your help & thank you & your colleagues for this terrific program. cheers.......
