Trying to convert a homemade DVD to avi in order to edit it in movie maker. The DVD comprises a two-hour video_ts folder with files. So far, it's taking two hours per every 10% converted. Probably the problem lies in the presets option. I didn't see a way to choose nothing, so I left the preset at mq avi video (h.264, 5mbit, 2-pass encoding; mp3, 320kbit/s). I have no idea what that means.

I need to convert another DVD just like this one for the same editing project. How can I do a better/faster job of it?

Ah. Never mind. I was trying to convert the whole folder at once, instead of by file. :-P
